Today I officially checked into North Star Huiyuan Apartment Hotel (VIP building), Beijing. When checking in, the butler learned that I would be staying for a week and specially arranged a 92 square meter one bedroom executive suite for me, saying that the facilities and configuration of this room type are most suitable for long-term office and living. The moment I opened the door, my first reaction was: this is not a hotel room, it's clearly a fully furnished apartment that can be moved in with just a bag.
A fully embedded shoe cabinet has been installed at the entrance, with layered partitions that can easily accommodate my three pairs of commuting shoes and two pairs of sports shoes. The empty space at the bottom is just enough for my regular slippers, so I don't have to move back and forth every day. In the independent storage room next to the entrance, there is also a fully automatic drum washing machine hidden, paired with a nearby drying rack. The laundry that needs to be changed for a week does not need to be sent out for washing, and can be dried directly after washing. For someone like me who often travels, it is a must-have level configuration.
Going inside is an open dining and kitchen integrated area, with a spacious countertop that can accommodate four or five dishes at the same time. If you want to buy some daily necessities or have an authentic Beijing style hotpot, you don't have to drive far. The hotel's own super large parking lot is particularly friendly to self driving guests. Guests can park for free and there are also new energy charging stations. As someone who drove a tram from out of town, I filled up the electricity as soon as I parked the car.
As a hotel apartment that has been in operation for many years, the services here are all tailored to the needs of long-term guests: a 24-hour butler is on call, and I need to print project materials temporarily. I call the front desk and within ten minutes, they are neatly bound and delivered to the room; On the third day of my stay, the housekeeping staff took the initiative to ask me if I could help wash the accumulated change of clothes. After drying and folding them, they placed them directly on my bedside, without having to go to the laundry shop by myself.
At the end of the week's trip, I no longer felt the fatigue of long-term business trips as before, but returned with a refreshing state.
